Human Resources Manager

Our corporate office and 500,000 sq. ft. distribution center / warehouse is located in Olathe, KS with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and China. We showcase our product lines in over 10 markets across the country including permanent showrooms in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Role Overview:

Manage the Human Resources function having responsibilities for talent management, performance management, organizational development, employee relations, career development, compensation and benefits administration. Provide HR support and coaching to managers and employees on HR policies and processes, and people management. You should be “hands on”, tactical, with the ability to get into the weeds while being able to implement strategic HR actions, initiatives, and programs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues.
  • Ensure effective talent attraction and management including recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Onboarding and offboarding, e.g., new employee orientation, exit interviews and termination process.
  • Serve as a member of the Health & Wellness Committee.
  • Ensure federal, state, and local compliance in regard to OSHA, labor laws, and I-9 administration.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and administration.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee culture and engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years in Human Resources management
  • Human Resources management experience in Warehouse/ Distribution Center a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Paylocity a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter takes initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and capable of seeking direction when required.
  • Collaborative – Team Player.
